ANNUAL SPONSORED WALK 2010

Saturday 10th April 10.30am Pocklington Canal Head Car park off the A1079. This year the walk is only 8 miles, beginning at the Canal Head, waling along the canal, through Melbourne and Allerthorpe Nature Reserve and ending back at the canal head. Anyone welcome! Please ring for a booking form. (07921775972.) £10 entry fee, includes a picnic box per walker, plus a snack for their 4 legged friend and a certificate at a later date. If you would like to attend and 'borrow' a PDR please get in touch asap.

Last year we raised £800, we are aiming high this year and would love to raise £1,000 but we can only do this with your help.

The Yorkshire Bike Forum are kindly doing a Pet Food Run for us this year. Last year Ryedale Riders came over and brought us lots of goodies for the dogs in exchnage for some tea and cakes and cuddles from the pups! This year wev are putting on a barbeque for the Yorkshire Bikers Forum riders. Anyone welcome, any donations of meat/bread/cheese to the 'Barbeque fund' would be excellent!  We will have a cake stall and tombola, and of course dog walking if you would like! This is taking place on Sunday 4th July at around 2.00pm so get it in your diaries!

We are always in need of supporters to help with collections in the supermarkets. Please get in touch if you would be interested in helping with the collections.

Recyling for Charity - We now have a recycling scheme going for printer cartridges. If you have a printer at home or at work please ask us for some recycling bags. The bags are freepost so all you need to do is pop your used printer cartriges in them and post them to help raise money for the dogs upkeep.
