Staff Volunteer Days

Plantation Dog Rescue need help to continue their work helping dogs who would otherwise be put to sleep. Although trimming our costs to a minimum and are rehoming as many dogs as we can; we still desperately need funds to stay open.

Ways to help...

There are many ways to help us which will cost you and your business nothing at all! Your staff can save old stamps, mobile phones, printer toner cartridges, bric-a-brac or unwanted foreign coins. We will arrange for these to be picked up free of charge then recycled for valuable funds.

We can provide collection boxes for small change to sit on reception or within your staff room for small change donations from staff or clients. Perhaps you hold a casual Friday where staff can wear their own clothes could do so for a small fine for employees who choose to wear their own clothes.

Finally, we hold open days for visitors to come and help us with urgent maintenance jobs around the site. This helps keep costs low so we can help more dogs. Can you dig holes for fence posts, mix concrete, use a strimmer, paint a wall, walk a dog or even just put the kettle on for the other volunteers? Could your business spare some people for a day to help? If not people, could you donate some materials (even donating the tea bags will help!)? Contact us for our more information regarding our Volunteer Day dates for 2010.

Thank you!
